The Samba-Enredo
A story everyone sings.
Popular poetry, sung literature, and soundtrack of the parade, the samba-enredo transforms a narrative into music and makes thousands of people sing together. Listen to great sambas, discover their stories, and sing your heart out.
Each school enters the Avenida with a story to tell and a samba to make thousands of people sing together.
Popular poetry, sung literature, and the soundtrack of the parade, the samba-enredo crosses generations and holds some of Carnival's greatest memories. Some samba-enredos became classroom subjects, while others were recorded by big names in MPB.
Press play. Some sambas only need to start for us to immediately return to the Avenida.
Sing out loud, my people!
