Free admission and half-price tickets
Free admission policy
Free admission only for:
- Children up to 2 years old (24 months).
- Teachers and students from the municipal public school system, upon recommendation and authorization by the Secretariat of Sports.
- People with disabilities (official ID or PCD card) and an escort, when necessary (Law No. 13.146/2015, Statute of Persons with Disabilities and Brazilian Inclusion Law).
- General public on the last Tuesday of each month (except groups).
Half-price ticket (50%)
Half-price tickets follow Federal Law No. 12,933/2013 and RJ State Law No. 8,775/2020, respecting the legal limit of 40% of total tickets. Proof of eligibility must be presented at the exhibition entrance.
Who is eligible and what to present:
- Students: valid Student Identification Card (CIE).
- People aged 60 or older: photo ID with date of birth.
- Low-income youth aged 15 to 29: ID Jovem.
- Public school teachers: employment ID or recent pay stub.
- Professionals from the Samba School Association: proof of employment or affiliation.
Benefits are not cumulative.
Carioca Paga Meia Program
Full adherence to the municipal program. You must present:
- CPF and proof of residence issued within the last 90 days (water, electricity, or IPTU bill).
- Photo ID document.
Not cumulative with half-price tickets or other benefits.
Monthly free day
Last Tuesday of each month: free admission for the general public (except for groups and tours, which remain at regular prices, without free admission).
- Tickets available only at the box office, on the day, starting at opening.
- Quantity limited to the daily capacity of the exhibition.
- Only 1 ticket per CPF.
